RULES AND REQUIREMENTS:
What is the difference between an associate and qualified regular member?
All Members join pbs as an associate member. two years after being a member all members have the option to apply for regular membership if they meet the criteria above. benefits that regular members enjoy that are not available to associate members is they are allowed to run for a council position/vice president/president and are allowed voting rights in the elections for council and changes in by-laws.
To apply, download and complete application and then have your sponsor look over it and have them send it via mail or email with their sponsor letter
- 21 years or older and be of good moral character
- Have been Associate Member in good standing for at least the last two years
- Minimum three years of bowhunting experience
- Taken by bow and arrow a minimum number of big game and small game species: Eight game animals plus a substantial number of small game animals and/or varmints
- Big game animals taken on commercial hunting preserves do not qualify, although they must be listed on application
- There will be one year probationary period for anyone acquiring Regular Membership status
- Must be sponsored by a current Qualified Regular Member and approved by the Executive Council of PBS
