vice presidentTERRY RECEVEUR“It’s not all about the bow and arrow, but then again, I guess it is!” Ronnie Bauer
This quote from Ronnie in the August 2018 PBS Magazine really touched me and pretty much sums up the PBS. Ronnie is relatively new to the PBS, but he found out pretty quick what makes it so special. The people! If you haven’t read his article, your really need to. He defines what the PBS is all about far better than I can. Most of you know me by now as I’ve had several biographies posted in prior magazines, but here’s a quick summary. I believe in God, family, country, and outdoor pursuits! I try to live my life in support of all of them. I’ve been married to my wonderful wife Tina for 31 years and we have 4 amazing kids. I have now been bowhunting for over 40 years. |
I vow to continue to help the PBS grow and to try to find ways to pass along our Knowledge Through Experience to the younger generations. We need for these guys to know that bowhunting is far more than just killing something and that the PBS is much more than just a bowhunting club. They need to learn what Ronnie knows.
It is so easy to get caught up in life and always strive to quickly achieve an end result. When we do this we sometimes forget to stop and smell the roses. Guys, it is about the journey and not the destination. Take the time to smell the roses and make memories that last forever. Good hunting buddies and true friends are an integral part of the process and there is no place better than the PBS to find these guys. Please don't forget the most important things in your life and represent all bowhunters in a way to preserve the sport for future generations. Terry Receveur P.O.
